In this five-part series, Evangelist Tonya shares the prayers of Apostle Paul.
Starting with Ephesians 1:17-19 is a prayer by the Apostle Paul asking God to grant believers a spirit of wisdom and revelation, to enlighten their hearts' eyes, so they may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the incomparable greatness of His power working in them, as described in versions like the NIV and KJV. It's a profound petition for deeper spiritual understanding of God's plan and abundant power for believers
Ephesians 3:16 is a bible verse where the Apostle Paul prays that God, from His glorious riches, would strengthen believers with power through His Spirit in their inner being, enabling them to live out their faith more deeply and comprehend Christ's expansive love. It's a key verse about receiving divine empowerment for spiritual growth, so Christ can dwell fully in the heart, leading to a rootedness in love and understanding of God's immense grace, as explained in verses 17-19.

Ephesians 3:17-19 is a powerful prayer from the Apostle Paul, expressing his desire for believers to have Christ dwell in their hearts through faith, becoming deeply "rooted and grounded in love". This foundation in love enables them to grasp the immense, immeasurable dimensions of Christ's love (its "breadth, length, height, and depth") and be filled with the "fullness of God," experiencing a deep, surpassing knowledge of His love.
Philippians 1:9-10 is a prayer by the Apostle Paul for Christians to grow in love, knowledge, and discernment, so they can "approve what is excellent," live pure and blameless lives, and be ready for Christ's return, highlighting that spiritual growth leads to practical righteousness and glorifies God

Colossians 1:9-11 is a prayer by the Apostle Paul asking God to fill believers with knowledge of His will, spiritual wisdom, and understanding so they can live lives that honor Him, bear good fruit, grow in God's knowledge, and be strengthened with power for endurance, patience, and joy. It outlines a pathway from divine knowledge to godly living, emphasizing a life that reflects Christ and pleases God in every way, even through hardship.
